We completed our quarterly Adopt-a-Highway cleanup on Sunday, March 7th on our section of Hwy. 359 north of Pattison. Thanks to the following club members who participated and earned their Volunteer credit:

Once again Bud Lite is a 10-1 leader in the litter of choice. There seems to be a tight correlation between drinkers of lousy beer and a propensity to litter. No inappropriate DVDs were reported, perhaps because it was a Sunday.
In the touch of irony category was the extra-large styrofoam cup from McDonalds, emblazoned with the "Don't Mess with Texas" logo and the words, "Keep Texas Beautiful". Apparently this extra marketing effort had no impact on the purchaser of the cup.
